SUMMARY:Progress towards a comprehensive corporate reporting system
DESCRIPTION:In September 2020\, CDP\, CDSB\, GRI\, IIRC and SASB issued a joint statement of intent outlining a shared vision for a comprehensive corporate reporting system\, which incorporates disclosures that reflect an organisation’s significant impacts on the economy\, environment and people\, and those that are material for enterprise value creation. \nIn our next paper\, launched in December\, we address one part of this system: standards for reporting on enterprise value\, brought to life with a prototype climate-related financial disclosure standard. The paper illustrates how our current frameworks\, standards and platforms\, along with the elements set out by the TCFD\, can be used together to provide a “running start” for development of global standards that enable disclosure of how sustainability matters create or erode enterprise value. \nWe invite you to join our organisation’s leaders on 12 January 2021 in a webinar with live Q&A\, to discuss the purpose of this latest paper and where it sits in the journey towards a comprehensive reporting system.
