DESCRIPTION:During 2021 and in the run-up to COP 26\, there have been significant developments in Hong Kong’s response to climate change\, including an increasing commitment on the part of the regulatory authorities to addressing climate change risks. \nThe Commonwealth Climate and Law Initiative (CCLI) has commissioned a legal opinion by Mr. Alex Stock SC\, and Ms Jennifer Fan from Temple Chambers in Hong Kong regarding directors’ duties and disclosure obligations in respect of climate change and climate change-related issues under Hong Kong law. \nJoin CCLI and the Asian Institute of International Financial Law\, University of Hong Kong as they discuss this new legal analysis on what this means for Hong Kong directors.
